Delete my account
You can delete your Unii account or your pre-registration, along with your personal information, at any time and at no cost.
Pre-registration on unii.ca
If you pre-registered on the website, sign in on the home page and choose Delete my pre-registration. It is immediate: your record, your photos and, if you created it on the site, your sign-in account are erased.
In the app
Open Unii, go to Settings > Account > Delete my account, then confirm.
During the app’s trial period (beta), this option is not yet available: send us an email and we’ll take care of it.
By email
Write to info@unii.ca from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. If you no longer have access to that address, let us know: we’ll ask you for something to confirm that the account is yours. We’ll confirm the deletion by email.
What is deleted
- Your profile, date of birth, photos and consent choices.
- Your messages, interests and event registrations.
- The events you created.
- Your sign-in account and the link to your subscription history at RevenueCat.
In conversations, your messages also disappear for the other person.
Timelines
- Pre-registration: immediate.
- Account in the app: no later than 30 days after your request.
- If backups exist, they are erased no later than 90 days afterward.
We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example, a report needed to protect other members), and only for the period set out in our Privacy Policy.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings. Payment records are kept by Apple or Google under their own obligations.
